New Jetta

VW Vortex has the first pictures of the new Jetta V, coming to this country in March 2005. I have to say, on first look it seems like a cross between the new Accord and a BMW 3-series. It certainly come a long way since those models of the ’80s and ’90s: less boxy and awkward to more fluid and sharp. I like the new look, and would consider getting the diesel, if I hadn’t promised myself that I would never finance a car again in my life. The Jetta V is sweet, but I’m holding out for a BMW R1150R.
