It’s That Time Again…New Year’s Resolutions! (Part 1 of 2)

So, here I sit on New Year’s Eve thinking about how I want to go about being the best possible me in 2009. It’s the last day of the year, and we are getting ready to go out for dinner & to a party, so this may be a two-part entry…resolutions shouldn’t be rushed, but [...]

Post-C’mas Celebration @ Chez Anderson

Thanks to Cheryl, my wonderful mother-in-law, for a great post-holiday party. My mom was here, we all had a blast, and we all ate way too much. Fortunately, my holiday cold did not last long, and I was able to enjoy the evening. I posted some photos of the event in my gallery. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas!!!

Hope everyone’s holidays were wonderful, warm, & happy ones! I know this post is a day late, but that’s just because we were having so much holiday fun! It didn’t even end today – we celebrated with one more big Christmas party, and are enjoying a visit with family. Christmas 2008 was beautiful…I just wish [...]

“Clean” Coal: MythBUSTED.

Another Reason to Support Stem Cell Research

In addition to saving lives and curing diseases, it could mean the end of animal testing. Rock on!

A Good Guy with Good Ideas

Obama is already making progress on placing the environment on his top priority list. I just love this quotation, from the banner of his website: “I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington…I’m asking you to believe in yours.” On a side note, I have enjoyed [...]

Peppermint Mocha Latte Time

Fun with a friend & good time spent at Starbucks. P.S. Currently watching Oprah’s version of her annual Favorite Things episode – my favorite idea so far is the cute Canadian couple’s 12 Dates of Christmas! Rock on…I am so stealing that one P.P.S This picture was made with my awesome new camera! I love [...]

Aww – Dinosuars had Big Hearts, Too!

In a new study, it appears that male dinosaurs were actually the ones to stick around and guard the eggs, rather than the females. That means that daddy day care is nothing new!

Christmas TV is So Much Fun

Frosty the Snowman & Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in Winter Wonderland…what more could I ask for on a lazy December Sunday night at home, with hot buttered popcorn and the remote all to myself?

Okay, I Admit It

I am addicted to this show! Whale Wars is being hailed as Animal Planet’s most controversial documentary, chronicling the Sea Shepherd’s protests against the Japanese whaling fleet’s annual campaign. It is a raw, well-done, and addictive show to say the least. I still admire GreenPeace for having the right idea, but I have officially switched [...]
