So, here I sit on New Year’s Eve thinking about how I want to go about being the best possible me in 2009. It’s the last day of the year, and we are getting ready to go out for dinner & to a party, so this may be a two-part entry…resolutions shouldn’t be rushed, but considered with at least some care & determination. Take a peek at Jerry’s resolutions on his site. As for mine, here is a start…

1. Think healthy! This includes more sleep, caring for my body (from getting facials & pedicures to flossing as often as I should), eating right, and exercising. This is kind of an umbrella resolution – there are lots of resolutions in this resolution, but it’s my number one priority so it stands as is. :-)

2. Spend more time at my gym. It’s such a wonderful place full of friendly faces and fun opportunities, from belly dancing classes and karate to an olympic-sized pool and a salon/spa. I love it when I am there, it just seems so difficult to get myself there. That can be improved…I feel positive it can!

3. Travel! It looks like this one is already shaping up to be a dream come true – we’ve got a week to play with in March,  NOLA in April, London in the summer, and DC in the fall – yipee! But, I also hope to see more, more, more. To never lose that desire to discover the world around me…in my own city, in my country, and beyond.

…and there’s more to come, fair readers! We are off for an Italian feast, and then it’s time to party down on Magnolia Street! :-)

Happy New Year to all!!!

Farewell to 2008 – it was great. Hello to 2009 – it’s going to be FINE! <3

These are good ones. I should be able to help. :-)

How about “buy less crap” for part two?
