I’d heard about this briefly in pilates class last week, but then I got swept up in New Years fun, and never blogged about it. Apparently, Yellowstone National Park felt 500+ tremors, aka an earthquake swarm, in the span of a week just after Christmas Day. More interestingly, Yellowstone is a caldera that sits atop a supervolcano, so these tremors very possibly hint at something much bigger to come.
I think we better get busy planning our trip! I certainly don’t want to miss seeing this natural wonder…and the future blast is only going to get more probable, so sooner rather than later might be best.
