Just about this time last year (March 1st to be exact!) we had a wonderful snow day. I played outside all day, taking breaks only to alternate pairs of gloves when they got soaked through, tossing one pair in the dryer & tugging the others on. I made a tiny snowman, took beautiful pictures of & around our house (like the one above of our backyard!), sipped hot chocolate, and ate toasty tomato soup for lunch. My Florida boy stayed indoors mostly, but he agreed it was a beautiful sight.
According to the forecast, we just might have another of those magical snow days tomorrow! Maybe even more snow this time, with a potential for 3-5 inches accumulation!!! I have nowhere I need to be tomorrow, books to read, fireplaces to recline by, and a well-stocked kitchen, so bring it on!
Yipeeeeeeee – can’t wait! Fingers & toes crossed – ready to get snowed in!
I think it’s still snowing. Weird. Glad we have a fireplace.
