Now that school is back in full swing, I find myself daydreaming of my recent week of freedom. The pool is always so serene and inviting, especially during this extra hot summer we’ve been enduring. Bliss.

On Monday, the 9th of August, my Granny turned 95. We celebrated a day early, with cake, other sweet treats, and lots of family. She is an amazing woman, and is as graceful and gentle as they come. I love you, Granny, and happy birthday. Many more to come! <3
On Saturday night we hosted a dinner party featuring homemade pizza, accompanied by caesar salad, and a tasty pecan pie trifle flanked by fresh chocolate covered strawberries. It was YUM-O! We enjoyed our company & conversation. Thanks to all who joined us! : – )
