Yes, indeed.

This photo was taken in our backyard – these lovely little things popped up right after the snow melted a couple of weeks ago, and are still going strong. A sweet little sign of the growth & color that is to come, and the warmth that brings things back to life. All that said, and it’s been a very cold & rainy weekend. I miss the sunshine! We were teased with it for a few days this week, and then I literally made an overnight transition from a flowing skirt & tank top to a sweater & boots. Even still, I enjoyed one last wood-burning fire at my parent’s house this afternoon with a cup of coffee in hand & good friends visiting from Florida (with their adorable baby girl!!!). It was a good weekend, rain or shine.

We spent Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale and made plenty of time to relax, eat, drink, be merry, and bask beachside in the perfect weather.

Can’t believe this special baby boy is more boy than baby now. Next month he will turn TWO! Hard to believe how time flies…makes me sound so old, but it’s true! This video was a hidden treasure in my computer archives, taken sometime during the summer. Just a sweet moment on the deck with friends, watching a little cutie take some big steps. And he has taken lots more since these!

8.6 pounds & 22 inches long – she was born on January 23rd, 2009 at 4:34pm.

Congratulations to the happy parents – I know my wonderful friends are over the moon & in love with their new baby girl! I am soooooooooo excited for them, and can’t wait to go visit!
